Everything is good here, but the salads are my favorite. I was never a salad person before, and now I often think about salads in the mornings, in anticipation of getting my Rustic or Chicken Cobb at caffe Baci.
Always live the service and the Americano Omletter and Cofee
Everything is good here. I tried all the salads and pastas. Best of all is the salmon. Must try.
Food is average but a bit pricy
I've come in for lunch a few times now, including when a friend was visiting from Quebec. It's a nice assortment of food. Mid-range pricing, depending on who you ask. What I like about the layout is that they keep you moving. Everything is located in stations where you can see the selection for that day. Let the chef know what you'd like and the cook it fresh. The salads are fantastic, too. I'd recommend doing one of the trios. There are a variety to choose from and you can eat off of it a few times.
nice place with good staff
Quick service, Italian themed food, selection of pizza, salad, paninis.
Delicious food and fast service.
Ordered the Grain Salad. It wasnt bad. Honestly, it was decent until I found a hair while eating. Lost my appetite afterwards. I'll probably go somewhere else if I'm in the area.
One of the best Late coffee and delicious pizza place
Wide variety of choices from salads to pan seared Salmon. Often crowded at Lunch.
Love love love the WALNUT APPLE SALAD
This place has a ”homemade” feel and taste to it that I love. Very friendly staff and generous portions.
Great food. First time there and I came after the lunch rush. I'll do better next time. DEFINITELY try the Cubano sandwich
The service is constantly quick, fantastic mood, kind staff members. Will eat here again when I am nearby.
Good food, quick service, fashionable decor, reasonable prices, what more could you want?
Convenient location. Good coffee late. I wish the cheese on Cuban sandwich was melted. Nice staff.
Modern and trendy coffee place to get a morning bite or daily cup. The coffee itself is prime, as well as the options they offer. I didn't get to try any of the food however they they have a wide selection, and for more than just the AM hours from what it looked like. All on a side of a random block in downtown Chicago. Definitiely for first time visitors to the windy city!
Decent place, nice ambiance. Not so pricey. We had a pizza and tomato soup. Soup was okay. Pizza was better.
Really good
Okay food okay pricing. Meh.
Great food, but it's a little pricey for my taste.
Great selection of pizzas, panini, salads, and sides/antipasti. Quick staff, usually ample seating.
Food is always fresh and delicious.
This is one of my favorite lunch options downtown. The food is fresh and tasty.
Convenient location with lots of daylight creating a positive atmosphere. Nice seating wether you arrive alone or in a little group.Food was tasty (salmon&pasta&veg) but not cheap.During Rushhour it's a bee-house but calms down a little later.
This restaurant is located inside my work building so it lends itself to an easy lunch location. I love their weekly rotating soups and specials. Tomato Basil and Bisque are my favorites! This spot is a little pricey but the quality of the food is great and I've never been dissatisfied in the 5+ years I've been coming.
Great food 🙂
A little pricey, but it's freshly made food, right in front of you. Using good ingredients and a comfortable environment.
Great selection of salad, pizza, pasta. The specials are different every time I go so it's never boring. Always fresh and fast.
Solid lunch place in the Central Loop. Service with a smile most of the time. Try their flatbreads.
Have come here once a week for breakfast. Food is always good. Haven't had something I didn't like.I highly recommend the Stratta. Reminds me of Thanksgiving stuffing backed into bread. Probably not the healthiest thing, but definitely a guilty pleasure.
Always has something good on the menu. Pricey though!
Overpriced, but very good. The staff is very kind. They even let my husband get a new sandwich for free simply because he decided he didn’t like the one he ordered. They care about making the customer happy.
You can quickly grab delicious Italian foods here. Life savor for busy person like me.
I got the Bohemian on the recommendation of the woman fixing paninis. It was literally a wrap with a bunch of lettuce, one tomato, a few roasted veggies and so little hummus that you could barely see it. I complained, and she said yes there should only be a tiny bit of hummus. She accused me of eating half of it (which I didn’t) and gave me a cup of soup. I’ll have to go buy a snack because I’ll be starving in an hour. When you pay as much as you do for a meat sandwich, there should be at least six chickpeas of hummus. Won’t be back here. The food could have been fixed.... the treatment of me is irreversible.
Big slice great pizza
Love Caffe' Baci! Lots of choices, fresh preparations and a killer espresso bar setup. The coffee here (Caffe' Umbria) is not an afterthought and is always perfect. One of the few places in Chicago where you can get a single espresso that tastes just like Italy.
Amazing Cobb salad
Quick stop for breakfast.
Fresh, high quality food coupled with terrific management makes for a phenomenal restaurant experience. Would highly recommend.
Nice selection of sandwiches, salads and tasty entrees. Everyone that works here is super friendly, helpful and accommodating if you'd like to sample something new or want to customize your order. Love the gelato!
Very good place to grab sandwich and coffee. They offer a good variety of salads as well.
Usually pretty good, but incredibly overpriced. Furthermore, they have been serving terrible avocados on their Cobb salad (my go-to lunch). Two times this week the avocado has not been ripe at all. Could barely cut through them. Hopefully this will improve, but for now it’s unacceptable.
Margherita pizza was great
Excellent coffee and sandwiches. Excellent location. Friendly service
The Salmon is the best!
Good is amazing different menu every week.
I came here for breakfast, I had the Americano omelette which was good. Nice and relax atmosphere, I would recommend.
What makes the higher prices worth it is the staff--very professional, polite, and fast, so I hope they're getting paid well for their hard work. The food is mediocre. The tuna tastes like all they did was dump a bunch of mayo in there, and some other sandwiches aren't very substantial. The seating and location are convenient for meeting up with people, which is why I've been here a few times.
